As part of Sustainable Development, Palace Resorts has incorporated, committing itself to providing all guests with luxury and high-quality experiences, while making responsible use of natural resources.
Saving Water
Reduce the use of detergent and fabric softeners and a program for optional changing towels and sheets. With this the resort save 2,88 millions gallons of water and 46,080 gallons of detergent a year.
Management of Green Areas
The resort counts with a nursery dedicated to the production of ornamental plants with an estimated production of 7,000 plants per month.
Use of biodegradable products in the maintenance of green areas.
Waste Management
Since 2006 recycling marathons have been organized at Palace Resorts where associates, communities, educational institutions and civil associations are invited to take their recyclable materials to a designated location which are later sold to local companies. All proceeds benefit the Palace Resorts Foundation.
Saving Energy
Rooms equipped with an energy control system (key cards or sensors).
Palace Resorts has an energy saving corporate program that establishes that each property will have lights, air conditioners, appliances and office equipment off when they are not in use.
