This Friday, August 26, 2011, a press conference will be held to announce the second phase of the new project being organized by the Rafa Márquez Foundation, “Fútbol y Corazón A.C. ” under its sponsorship with Yucatán Holidays.
The press conference will take place in the city of Hoboken, NJ, just a few miles from the home of the New York Red Bulls, the Red Bull Arena, located in Harrison, New Jersey. The Red Bull Arena is considered, by many, to be the best soccer stadium in North America. The New York Red Bulls is comprised of such international stars as Rafa Marquez, who plays Center Back and French Forward, Thierry Henry.
Yucatán Holidays and the Rafa Márquez Foundation “Fútbol y Corazón A.C. “, will launch its international campaign titled “Vacaciones Inolvidables” (Unforgettable Holidays) during the game being played on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at the Red Bull Arena: New York Red Bulls v. LA Galaxy. As part of the launch, Yucatán Holidays will be distributing over ten thousand certificates for stays in Cancun, Mexico to the spectators.
This corporate campaign is intended to make strides not only in the Mexican market but also in the United States and Latin America. The campaign promotes travel to Cancún and the Riviera Maya, which are two of the largest tourist attractions in the world and boast a first world infrastructure. This is the reason that visitors to the region are determined to return to these tourist destinations as often as possible. “Vacaciones Inolvidables” offers its travelers the opportunity to enjoy an unforgettable experience, while supporting the Rafa Marquez Foundation and its many significant efforts. Rafa Marquez is currently the Center Back of the New York Red Bulls, is the Captain of the “Selección Mexicana de Futbol”, and is one of the most recognizable stars in the soccer world.
A portion of each “Vacaciones Inolvidales” vacation package sold is given to the Rafa Marquez Foundation, which permits it to continue its efforts to help the less fortunate youth of Mexico.
Rafa intends to use his popularity and success in sports to help influence others to get involved in the poorer communities in order to improve the living standards of the Mexican youth. Rafa continues to make positive strides in his life, while at the same time, discovering new horizons and fulfilling the dreams of the thousands of children who have benefitted from this project.
Yucatán Holidays joins the Foundation in helping to improve the quality of life for so many needy children in the hope that the possibility of a better future, enjoying better nutrition and education and participation in sports, will bring a smile to their faces.
