12/02/2010Miami Beach Dorchester Hotel Welcomes 2010 Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival Particpating Chef John Gray

John Gray Restaurant Group’s owner and Chef John Gray, who will be the only chef representing Mexico in Miami during the 2010 Food Network South Beach Wine & Food Festival’s Perrier-Jouët Champagne BubbleQ, will host an intimate cocktail reception on Thursday, February 25th at 4pm at the legendary Dorchester Hotel’s courtyard.

John will present a degustation of his signature dishes that seamlessly fuse innovative presentations, international flavors and ingredient pairings within each selection. The Dorchester’s award-winning exteriors will transform into the Mexican Caribbean for the evening and offer guests the exclusive opportunity to indulge in the renowned chef’s eclectic cuisine, dynamic soundtrack for his restaurants, as well as be able to speak to with John Gray one-on-one.

Chef and restaurateur John Gray has become renowned for being a pioneer in bringing high quality, international cuisine and the fine dining concept to the Mexican Caribbean, more than 17 years ago. So extraordinary are Gray’s four restaurants that many of the world’s most renowned chefs, celebrities and repeat visitors to Cancun, Puerto Morelos and Playa del Carmen, make it a ‘must-do’ during their stay. John Gray’s Kitchen in Puerto Morelos opened in 2002; John Gray’s Place in Playa del Carmen opened in 2004; was named one of Conde Nast Traveler’s “Hot Tables” and reopened in December 2008 across the street from its original location with an exceptional redesign; La Suegra de John Gray in Puerto Morelos opened in February 2008; John Gray’s Downtown, opened in downtown Cancun in June 2008 and The Den at John Gray’s Place, is a quaint bar which offers an extensive wine list and appetizers. The Den, which opened in February 2009, is adjacent to John Gray’s Place in Playa del Carmen.
